Water

Well Water; the water is tested regularly and is safe for drinking/consumption.  However, some people may prefer the taste of bottled water, so we have supplied a water jug and cooler in the kitchen for guest use.

Winter Access

The fire route is a private road.  It is maintained and plowed in the winter but it can get quite icy and there is a steep hill coming down to the cottage.  A vehicle with four-wheel drive is required to get back up the hill in the winter.  If you do not have four-wheel drive, there is a parking space plowed at the top of the hill you can use to park and walk down to the house.
