Relaxation awaits you at this large, open-concept four-season cottage nestled along the scenic shores of Lower Buckhorn Lake in Ontario's Kawartha region.
Situated on an acre of mature trees with 185ft of waterfront, the cottage is fully equipped with everything you need to experience & explore all that Buckhorn has to offer.
The cottage features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and sleeps up to 8 people. It offers many amenities including dock, fully-equipped kitchen, BBQ, wood burning fire place and much more

Enjoy the private, tranquil setting on this large tree-lined property with over 185ft of water frontage where wildlife abounds and take part in all that nature has to offer all year round.

Buckhorn's primary fishing species include largemouth and smallmouth bass, walleye, muskellunge, bluegill, yellow perch and black crappie.
Hiking
The Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park features trails along the Mississauga River and boasts some of the most incredible scenery in the Kawarthas.
Mclean Berry Farm
During the summer you can enjoy local berries and produce from Mclean Berry Farm which is located just minutes away on Berry Road, leading up to the entrance of the cottage. They also host a Maplefest in March, and Pumpkin Festival in October.
Local Dining
For dinner, we recommend Beachwood Resort which is just down the lake. If you're heading to Bobcaygeon, you must check out the Grilled Cheese Hideaway for lunch!

For two months each summer, Ptbo Musicfest offers free concerts (Wed & Sat) at Del Crary Park.
Lazy River
The Mississauga River is accessible from Lower Buckhorn Lake and offers a nature lazy river experience for approximately 1km, after which you can swim at a scenic waterfall. Bring your own tube and enjoy!
Bobcaygeon
Bobcaygeon is less than 30 minutes away,and offers unique shops and refreshment at many friendly pubs and restaurants. Stop in for a famous Kawartha Dairy ice cream!
Locks
With more than 386km of the Trent Severn Waterway, you can take your vessel all the way from Lake Ontario to Lake Huron. Lock 31 is located in Buckhorn and many people enjoy taking a tour around the locks and watching the boats go through. There are some picnic benches and nearby ice cream shops to enjoy.
